Christen Ager-Hanssen is a Norwegian but London-based entrepreneur and venture capitalist. At the turn of the millennium, a couple of years before his 40th birthday, Ager-Hanssens net worth was estimated to be between two and three billion dollars. A heavy IT investor at the time, Ager-Hanssen lost a lot of money, with the crash that followed the 90:s dot com bubble. He is a great technology lover, and was a pioneer in commercializing the internet. He also latched on to business intelligence, when BI was in it’s infancy. He is considered to be an aggressive businessman, with nicknames like “Norways Gordon Gekko” and “Modern Day Viking”.
